I am not a conventional career coach.
Resumes bore me.
I have a love/hate relationship with LinkedIn.
I won't tell you what's "realistic."
I won't tell you to get a day job and do your hobby in your off hours—unless that's what you want.
I won't tell you that you should treat your job search like a full-time job.
I won't tell you that it's easier to find a job when you have one.
What I will do is listen.

And help you listen to your gut and get honest about what you really, truly want.

Even if it's "unrealistic, irresponsible and selfish."

And then I will tell you that it's possible.

I haven't always been in the right career. Not by a long shot.

For 15 years I suffered in jobs that were not right. At first, I thought it was the position I had. Then I thought it was the company, or my boss or the wrong industry.

Finally, I had to admit that most of it was me. And that in order to find what I really wanted to do and why I'm here on this planet (besides making friends with every dog I see), I was going to have to do some work. On me.

No one else could do the work for me, but I was going to need some help.

I read books, I talked to people, I hired several different coaches, but at that time, no one was talking about passion or what they wanted to be when they grew up. People expected me to know what I wanted to do — and that was the problem.

I just didn't know.

I realize now that I was afraid of getting it wrong, making a mistake, looking foolish, and that's what was keeping me so stuck.

So now I want to help people like get past that stuckness to find that the thing that fits them, that makes them wake up in the morning eager (maybe even giddy) to get going already because I have sh*t to do and it matters.

I get to make a difference doing work I'm good at with people I like and who inspire me. Every day.

I don't get the "Sunday night blues" anymore. I don't get that knot of anxiety when I check my calendar or my inbox.

Like I said, I am lucky.

But it wasn't all luck and I wish I'd had someone to guide me and support me along the way when I got scared.

That's why I'm here. For you. So you don't have to stay in a miserable job doing things that you don't really like, might not be that good at while you know that there is something out there for you that would be better.

I can help you find it.

Let's put an end to all this career angst and get going!
